 Archive of Past Events! For Upcoming Events, Click Here! Thank you all for your help and support! We are blessed with amazing volunteers, wonderful children and generous sponsors! Youth Club CHRISTMAS Party! Back on Thursday, December 15th, we saw the fruits of our labor from the 5k Run & Christmas Gala where we raised money to so we could throw a party for our youths in Inglewood! Over 50 kids joined us for the event, and thanks to all of you, we were able to purchase Christmas presents for each and every one of them! not only did we have the presents from their wish lists, but with your gracious gifts, we were able to have a catered dinner with a live performance set up for them at the church! It was a wonderful event, and what the gift of God is all about. We can't thank you all enough for all you have given to this ministry! God Bless your 2008! Proceeds were raised from our very first fundraiser event...

2 Part Event! * 5k Run to Impact Hearts! Back on Saturday, December 1st, 2007, we got up bright and early, starting up the Christmas season with a 5k run in Marina Del Rey! We ran to raise money that was used to purchase Christmas presents and fund a Christmas dinner party where our youth can enjoy a family and holiday atmosphere! Congrats to the 60+ people who ran for our Youth Christmas! * Christmas Gala Dinner & Cocktail Party! We had our Christmas Gala dinner event with a silent auction, Nintendo Wii tournament, a huge raffle and some card game action! We had great music and food, and enjoyed raising the money with all of you in support of the youths this Holiday season! THANK YOU for being a part of the joy, being a part of their Christmas and giving a part of yourself!

Saturday, November 3rd BEACH SPORTS DAY! On Saturday, November 3rd, we gathered the youths from the community in a group mentoring experience to share a fun filled day on the beach! We were at 10th and the Strand in Hermosa Beach playing volleyball, flag football and hitting the ocean waves! Volunteers and friends joined us for a fun day playing and sharing time and building relationships with our youths from the Thursday night Youth Club Night's in Inglewood as well as other friends from the surrounding areas. Thank you to all our sponsors for the event who donated food and beverages and equipment!
Annual Market Street Festival in Inglewood!Along Market Street from Florence Avenue to Hillcrest Boulevard Inglewood’s annual “Inglewood Celebrates the Arts Market Street Festival,” and took place on Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 11:00 a.m. to dusk. This festival was inviting for individuals, families and children of all ages. Festival activities took place along Market Street from Florence Avenue to Hillcrest Boulevard. Impacting Hearts teamed up with our new friends from APX Mentoring in representing the Faith-Based Committee in South Bay and manned two tables handing out flyers for our Youth Club Nights and much more! Renowned entertainers performed throughout the day on three different stages. Young performing artists such as All That Dance Company, Fantasia Dance Ensemble, Danza Huitzilopochtli and Ballet Folklorico Macias sang and danced on the Nutwood Stage. Booths featuring multicultural artists, interactive games, storytellers, illustrators, and arts and crafts for children lined the streets. The Faith Based Committee'sTHANK YOU FOR MAKING FAMILY FUN DAY 2007 A SUCCESS!! A big thank you to all of those congregations and community based organizations who made Family Fun Day 2007 a great success!! At least 3,500 people came to enjoy all the free activities, exciting entertainment, and wonderful food! Approximately 700 children were given prizes for their participation at your booths (which were very busy)! And, we exceeded our expectations in recruiting adoptive parents, mentors, and foster parents for our children in need!!! Date and Time: Saturday, July 14th, 2007 from 7am-10pm Group Mentoring Excursion MAGIC MOUNTAIN, WAS AWESOME! We went to Six Flags Magic Mountain back on Saturday, July 14th! We teamed up with the teens from our Thursday evening Youth Club Nights and sharing a day in a group mentoring excursion for the summer! This was the one the teens wanted to see! We had volunteer teams and youth teams combine to form some really fun and large groups for rides all day and night!
Date and Time: Saturday, December 16th 5-8pm at the DCFS Torrance office, 2325 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA 90501This event was sponsoered by donors as we helped throw a Christmas party for Foster Teens from the ages of 13-17. In order to bring some holiday cheer to our at-risk youth living in foster care who do not have a permanent home to call their own, the county hosted a Foster Youth Holiday Party for almost 100 foster youth, ages 13 to 17 years of age, on December 16th, 2006, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the DCFS Torrance office, 2325 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA 90501. In order to have a successful and fun event, our assistance was needed in providing food and gift cards. In particular, we helped raise over $2,000.00 that went towards the purchase of 125 holiday meals, 50 gift items that are appropriate for teens, and entertainment provided to our youth. Our beach event back on Saturday, July 15th was a resounding success. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your prayers, support and encouragement. Your feedback, recommendations and photos from the events have been invaluable to us as we learn to improve our abilities, efforts and resources. We have a lot of learning to do as we grow, and you continued friendship is paramount to our ongoing efforts. Take a bow, volunteers! You are truly gifts from God!
